SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING THINGS LOSS USING RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION

A system and a method for preventing the loss of user's things by using an RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) system are provided to inform a user of the loss or stolen of a belonging by generating an alarming sound from a belonging loss prevention device if the belonging having an RFID tag is separated from the user out of the range of a predetermined distance. A system for preventing the loss of user's things by using an RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) system includes at least one belonging(200) having an RFID tag and a belonging loss prevention device(100) transmitting/receiving radio frequency to/from the belonging and generating an alarming sound if it does not have a reply from the belonging. The belonging loss prevention device includes the followings: an input unit(30) registering/canceling a key for a belonging; a storage unit(20) storing an RFID tag identifier; an RFID reader(50) transceiving a radio frequency with the belonging; a control unit(10) outputting an alarming signal if there is no reply radio frequency signal; and an alarming unit(60) generating an alarming sound by the alarming signal from the control unit.
