An electronic disk device and a recording medium for thereof is provided to protect copyright of a music source data safely by setting the music source data as dedicated reading/hiding attribute by force and only allowing a certified application program to the music source data. An electronic disk device(100) comprises a memory(140), an authentication treatment unit(360), and a memory control unit(350). The memory stores a music source date set as a dedicated reading attribute or a hiding attribute by force. The authentication treatment unit certifies an application program. The application program converts attributes of the music source data stored in the memory. The memory control allow only certified application program to convert dedicated reading and hiding attributes of the music source data.
