FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: instrument has sensor formed as extended elongated member enclosed in elastically deformed enclosure, said member being designed for insertion into vagina. Instrument also comprises control and regulation unit with display and microprocessor, handle and pump. Microprocessor is designed for regulating sequence of pelvic floor muscles strain and relaxation modes and generating signals for indicating pressure values on display, putting on and off pelvic floor muscles strain and relaxation modes, regulating duration of said modes and changing loading force applied to said muscles. Pump is communicating through pipe with cavity of elastically deformed enclosure of sensor and has pressure releasing valve. Sensor is fixed on one end of handle. Longitudinal axis of sensor is arranged at an angle to longitudinal axis of handle. Cavity of elastically deformed enclosure is communicating with pump through handle via pipe consisting of two parts coupled through connector to one another. Pump is positioned in control and regulation unit to be put on and off by means of outside switch unit. Detachable elongated member is equipped with additional inflatable members placed within elastically deformed enclosure for fixing shape of said member. Microprocessor is designed for selecting one of three levels of changing pelvic floor muscles strain and relaxation modes, storing up to 1,000 measurements in database, graphical displaying of previously produced results, voice or acoustic displaying of pelvic floor muscles strain and relaxation modes and indicating changes in muscles loading force in the form of colored equalizer.
