Method comprises water filtration through a layer of granulated serpentinite with its periodic washing by aqueous or water-air method. The method features use of granules 0.15 ÷ 2 mm in size and additional periodic carryng out of serpentinite layer treatment with alkaline solution. Water filtration may be performed through two or more sequentially situated layers (18, 19). Treatment with alkaline solution may be carried out by its filtration through serpentinite layer in downstream direction in the course of water purification or in the opposite direction. Corresponding control may be accomplished by valves (29-56). Increase in sorption activity of serpentinite material is achieved, range of extracted contaminating components is expanded, consumer supply with freshly purified water is guaranteed, with compliance to statutory requirements being achieved directly in purification process, without averaging its composition and necessity to keep for this purpose a stock of purified water. |
