FIELD: electrical engineering; cooling transformers using liquid insulation, for instance mineral oil. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed cooling device has top and bottom metal manifolds with branch pipes for communication with transformer tank and straight round- or oval-section metal pipes whose ends are welded into lower wall of top manifold and to upper wall of bottom manifold so that pipes are communicating with manifolds. Installed inside mentioned pipes coaxially with them are metal pipes of smaller diameter passed through manifolds, their ends being welded into upper wall of top manifold and to lower wall of bottom manifold. Internal pipes communicate with surrounding atmosphere and annular ducts are formed between external and internal pipes for liquid circulation. ^ EFFECT: reduced mass and size of cooling device. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg
