A method for searching a route having a 2-pass scheme and a system for executing the same are provided to generate route guidance information by using grid and road information related to departure and arrival positions. A system for searching a route having a 2-pass scheme includes a position inputting unit(101), an information extracting unit(102), a route generating unit(103) and a route guidance generating unit(104). The position inputting unit receives departure and arrival positions. The information extracting unit extracts grid and road information related to the departure and arrival positions from a route search database. The route generating unit generates multi routes based on the grid and road information. The route guidance generating unit generates route guidance information using the multi routes according to a predetermined route selection condition. |
