A magnetic cuttings ditch contains a cylindrical housing with a bottom, an upper lid with stuffing box, an inlet duct with a skew shear at the outlet, an exhaust duct of working water, upper and lower process branch pipes for supply of air, washing water and removal of cuttings. Inside the housing a deflector is placed which is an end wall of exhaust duct, guiding partition of incoming flow of spiral-shaped form which creates the twist of flow. Inside the housing a gauze filter is concentrically placed which upper cowling is fixed in the end wall, and lower cowling rests on the sludge chamber of small fractions which is made together with crosspiece and louvered lattice above the sludge chamber of large fractions. Along the axis of the filter through the sealing penetration in the cover a tubular prop with washers installed to which vertical guiding partitions of outlet flow with ferromagnets fixed on them are fastened.
