The proposed device for determining wear resistance of structural dental products and natural teeth contains a working mechanism, a transfer mechanism, and a drive. The working mechanism contains a fixed support part and a movable part that can execute reciprocal movement relative to the fixed part. The movement from the drive to the working mechanism is transmitted via a cam and a follower. The follower acts on the rod of the working mechanism, which is installed in a spring-loaded sleeve. The rod is coupled with a spring-loaded link via a threaded sleeve that is designed for adjusting the length of the link. The end part of the link enters into the threaded hole of the movable part of the working mechanism. The sample of dental product or the crown of tooth is installed in a spring-loaded holder, which is installed in the hole of the fixed part. In the process of tensing the sample for determining its wear resistance, the sample surface is wetted with physiological solution.
