FIELD: rolled stock production, namely method for coiling strip onto drum of coiler of cold rolling mill for further annealing of coil in batch furnace. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of changing tension of strip during coiling process according to sine law at amplitude consisting of 0.05 - 0.25 of nominal tension; at coiling inner turns of coil lowering tension according to linear law from values equal to 2.0 - 4.0 of nominal values till nominal one as increasing its diameter till value equal to Din + (0.4 - 0.6)Din where Din - inner diameter of coil; then changing tension of coiling during three period halves of sine curve beginning from negative one as increasing diameter till outer diameter of coil. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of cold rolled strip. ^ 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex
