METHOD FOR TREE FORMING AND A DATA TRANSMISSION IN OVERLAY MULTICAST NETWORK CIRCUMSTANCE

A method for configuring a tree in an overlay multicast network circumstance is provided to improve operation reliability of a user node by coupling clusters in a parent-child relationship. A parent cluster, which includes a source node and at least one user node, and a child cluster are arranged in a tree configuration. A new user node, which desires to participate in an overlay multicast network, requests an admission to the source node(S100). The source node delivers a list of leader nodes in the parent and child clusters to the new user node(S110). The user node measures a delay time from the source node to the receiving leader node(S120). The user node is included into a cluster, to which the leader node with the smallest delay time is included(S130).
