An apparatus for inserting beads is provided to automate a work of threading small-sized beads through a middle string, thereby mass-producing bead strings at high speed. A storage hopper(2) having an exhaust port(1) is mounted on a frame body(100). A vibrating element(3) is installed at an outer surface of the storage hopper. An upper clamp(10) and a lower clamp(20) are respectively installed on the frame body. The upper and lower clamps are respectively operated by cylinders(11,21). A vertical type insertion needle(4) is positioned on a lower portion of the exhaust port of the storage hopper so that the upper and lower clamps alternately clamp the insertion needle. A position sensor(5) is installed at the frame body, and disposed between the upper and lower clamps. Each of the clamps is composed of nippers(12) rotating on a vertical type fixing axis tube(14) and a connection link(13) for connecting the nippers to the cylinder.
