FIELD: tracking system for tracking of movable objectives and method for use of this system. ^ SUBSTANCE: the tracking system has a monitoring device, tracking information transmission network, data transmission channel, outer center of the tracking system and a tracking information server. The outer center of the tracking system functions irrespective of the objective and uses the practice of the global navigation system and determination of the position (GPS). The tracking information server supplies the user of the system with the tracking information and the information associated with it. The method is intended for tracking of the movable objective and supplying the tracking information to the user. In one variation of invention the outer tracking center communicates with the "Iridium" satellite group, and the tracking information is presented on the user's display, when the tracking objective is found mainly somewhere in the world. In another variation, the monitoring device communicates with the "Iridium" satellite group, and the tracking information is transmitted preferably via the Internet network to the user's display that is found mainly somewhere in the world. ^ EFFECT: the user is provided with the tracking information together with an additional information of various types. ^ 60 cl, 14 dwg |
