<p>A diffuser for aerating liquids has an outwardly flowing body 14, Fig. 3, (not shown) attached to a gas supply manifold 12 and a resilient cover 17 adjustably retained and centred by a bolt 21 and a nut 24; in operation the gas pressure creates an annular gap at 16 from which bubbles emerge. The device acts as a non-return valve to prevent liquid entering the gas supply system in the absence of gas pressure.</p> |
