A method for providing schedule information of a mobile terminal is provided to solve a problem that a schedule function of a general mobile terminal allows checking only the title, date and time of a schedule without providing a function of informing about schedule participants. When an alarm time arrives while a mobile terminal is in a standby mode(S501.S503), a controller informs a user that there is a schedule(S505). When the user selects a check button on a schedule notification screen image(S507), the controller displays a screen image of a schedule participant(S508). When the user selects a message button(S511), the controller displays a message creation screen image(S513). When the user creates a message and selects a send button(S515), the controller transmits the created message(S517). When the user selects a call button, the controller originates a call to a phone number of a corresponding participant(S519).
