It is intended to provide a novel amyloid protein (a human mutated amyloid protein) which is useful as, for example, an antigen molecule for improving a vaccine therapy. This human mutated amyloid protein is a protein which lacks Glu at the 22-position, Ala at the 21-position or Asp at the 23-position in a normal (wild type) amyloid protein consisting of 40, 42 or 43 amino acids (AF1-40, AF1-42 or AF1-43) respectively.
