An alarming device and a method of an audio/video system of a vehicle is provided to offer emergency broadcasting efficiently by allowing an audio processing unit to output emergency broadcasting according to the driving state of the vehicle if receiving DMB service is the emergency broadcasting. An alarming device of an audio/video system of a vehicle comprises a DMB processing unit(195), a control unit(100), and an audio processing unit(140). The DMB processing unit receives DMB service. The control unit allows the audio processing unit to output an emergency broadcasting to be corresponded to driving state of the vehicle if the DMB service is the emergency broadcasting. The audio processing unit outputs the emergency broadcasting according to driving state of the vehicle under control of the control unit.
