An Internet media channel broadcasting system using an MICS, which is connected to an MS having a MDN(Media Domain Name) based on an mCh-IP, and a method thereof are provided to enable a CN(Client Node) to connect to a media channel directly by assigning the MDN based on the mCh-IP to the medial channel of the MS storing media contents of an MCP(Media Content Provider) and using the MDN and an mCh-IP from the media channel. A CN-RMS(Registration Management Server) registers, processes, and stores data inputted from the CN by connecting to the CN through the P2P(Peer-to-Peer) network and provides a plug-in for recognizing the media Internet channel protocol to the CN. An MDN-RMS registers, corrects, and deletes an IP address corresponding to an FQDN and the DMN of the MCP, and registers, corrects, deletes, and manages copyright protection and a royalty payment request of the media content. An mCh-DRS(Domain Root Server) links the CN with the FQDM and the MDN of the MCP according to a protocol schema of a web address received from the CN. An mCh-AS(Authentication Server) encodes/decodes data of the IP address of the MS and performs a channel access control key mode algorithm. An mCh PS(Paid Server) performs a Pay-CHCKS mode algorithm permitting connection to the only CN having a decoding key for the encoded MS IP address.
