FIELD: automotive industry; mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for sealing fixed joints of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and it can be used in automotive industry and allied spheres of application, for instance, in automobile fuel lines delivering fuel from fuel tank to engine. Invention is aimed at provision of sealing of fixed end face joint by round-section sealing ring meeting requirements of main parameters as to zero penetrability and toxicity. Proposed round-section sealing ring consists of elastic material and embedded element made of glass-filled polyamide having form of Geneva wheel with four arms in section, and surfaces arranged between two adjacent arms are hyperbolic. ^ EFFECT: reduced toxicity and cost of article. ^ 4 dwg |
