A flexible polyurethane foam, and a method for preparing the flexible polyurethane foam are provided to increase the green content of a polyurethane foam without the deterioration of characteristics. A flexible polyurethane foam comprises the reaction product of at least one kind of polyisocyanate, at least one vegetable oil alkoxylated in the presence of a dual metal cyanide(DMC) catalyst, and optionally at least one kind of non-vegetable oil-based polyol optionally in the presence of at least one selected from a foaming agent, a surfactant, a pigment, a flame retardant, a catalyst and a filler. Preferably the polyisocyanate is toluene diisocyanate; the vegetable oil is a castor oil; and the dual metal cyanide catalyst is zinc hexacyanocobaltate.
