An antenna and a mobile communication terminal having the same are provided to minimize the antenna by forming a second pattern unit as a spiral shape or a meander shape. A mobile communication terminal having an antenna includes a case(10), a substrate(100), a first pattern unit(110), and a second pattern unit(120). The substrate(100) is mounted on the case(10). The first pattern unit(110) is formed on a side plane of the substrate(100). The second pattern unit(120) is connected to the first pattern unit(110), and has a different width from a width of the first pattern unit(110). The width of the second pattern unit(120) is narrower than the width of the first pattern unit(110). The first pattern unit(110) of the antenna is located on an outer side of the case(10). The second pattern unit(120) is located on the inside of the second pattern unit(120).
