The present invention relates to a method of bypassing a failing fuel cell, in a fuel cell power system, the fuel cell having an anode and a cathode, the method comprising placing a diode in parallel with the fuel cell. If the fuel cell fails, current flows from the anode of the fuel cell to the cathode of the fuel cell via the diode instead of through the fuel cell. |
