A burner nozzle (80a) comprises a burner sleeve (80) which protrudes over the nozzle head (88) to form a zone for producing a twist in the flow mixture downstream behind the nozzle insert (90) having channels (96). Units are provided for producing the twist. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system comprising a number of burner nozzles; (2) an oven arrangement with the above burner nozzle; (3) an installation for treating continuously cast strands; and (4) a heating installation comprising the above oven arrangement or system of nozzles.
