<p>The cell has an anode (2) utilized in an electrochemical metal-air-cell, and a gas-diffusion cathode or air cathode (3) provided with a hydrophobic layer. A housing has a housing area (4) that is limited by a fluid-impermeable wall. The anode is spaced apart from the cathode under formation of an intermediate area (13), and is arranged outside of the housing area. The intermediate area is partially filled with an electrolyte e.g. salt water or sea water, between the cathode and the anode.</p> |
