HIGH-DENSITY GLASS YARN TABLETS

摘要

FIELD: manufacture of high-density glass yarn tables. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mixing cut yarn in presence of water in the amount of 10-25 mass-%; yarn is sized by sizing agent containing organosilane. Mixing is continued during period of time sufficient for increase of density by at least 67%; mixer used for the purpose ensures similar speed of mixing of yarn or tablet. During mixing, foam-forming agent is brought in contact with yarn for forming the tablets which contain at least 95 mass-% of glass after drying. ^ EFFECT: possibility of forming tables from long yarns. ^ 29 cl, 10 dwg, 3 tbl
