A base station for transceiving data in a WDM(Wavelength Division Multiple) access network, the WDM access network including the same, and a media access method for the WDM access network are provided to enable transceiving base stations to transceive efficiently traffic through a traffic priority allocating process, thereby being suited to environment that various multimedia traffic is flowed. A base station(200) for transceiving data in a WDM(Wavelength Division Multiple) access network comprises the followings: a buffer unit(210) which stores traffic; a first transmitting unit(220) which transmits a control signal for preparing the transmission of data and transmits an admission signal in response to a received control signal; a first receiving unit(230) which receives the admission signal and receives the control signal; a second transmitting unit(240) which transmits the data according to the admission signal; a second receiving unit(250) which receives the transmitted data; and a priority estimating unit which determines an order of various multimedia traffic by priority allocation.
