VARIABLE OVERPOWER TRIP FUNCTION WITH MULTIPLE CEILINGS

A method for tripping a variable overpower nuclear reactor having multiple ceiling is provided to improves stability when applying a VOPT(Variable Overpower Trip function) with multiple ceilings. A method for tripping a variable overpower nuclear reactor having multiple ceilings applies a floor, a rate and a ceiling according to the speed of a main coolant pump(1) during the operation of an integral type nuclear reactor which has the main coolant pump(1) vertically installed inside a pump nozzle, a control rod driving apparatus(2), a vapor generator(3), a nuclear reactor ring-shaped cover(4), and a nuclear reactor vessel(5). The floor and the rate are maintained uniformly, but the ceiling is variably applied according to the speed of the main coolant pump(1).
