An information processing device and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to select a desired drawing object easily even if a plurality of drawing objects are overlapped. A designating unit designates a selection range. A judging unit judges whether respective drawing objects included in the selection range are laid out to a rear side of other drawing objects based on an overlapped state of the drawing objects. A determining unit determines the drawing objects overlapped on other drawing objects as a selection target without selecting the drawing objects overlapped to the rear side of other drawing objects. |
