A low center type floating breakwater is provided to reduce roll motion, and minimize the shaking of the floating breakwater by installing at least a pair extending walls and mounting a weight body. A low center type floating breakwater comprises a floating body part(10), extending walls(20a,20b), and a weight body(30). The floating body part is floated on a sea water surface. The extending walls are extended from the floating body part, and separated from each other to be opposed. The weight body is placed at the lower part of the extending bodies to make the floating body part have low center. The lower part between the extending walls is opened and through holes(26a,26b) are formed in the extending walls for inflow of the sea water. The extending walls include upper reinforcements(21), center reinforcements(22a,22b), and lower reinforcements(23). |
