A stopping apparatus for a run-in-roller table is provided to convey a steel wire or rod from the run-in-roller table to a run-out-roller table safely by arraying the steel wire or rod on the run-in-roller table with one out of a fixed stopper member and an openable stopper member. A stopping apparatus for a run-in-roller table comprises a fixed stopper member(10) and an openable stopper member(20). The fixed stopper member fixed to an outlet of the run-in-roller table to close the outlet. The openable stopper member is mounted in front of the fixed stopper member to open and close the outlet of the run-in-roller table. The fixed stopper member includes a fixed support panel(11) and an elastic support panel(12). The fixed support panel is fastened to the outlet of the run-in-roller table. The elastic support panel is elastically mounted in front of the fixed support panel to close the outlet of the run-in roller table. The openable stopper member includes a door stopper member(21) and an opening and closing unit(22). The door stopper member closes the outlet of the run-in-roller table before the fixed stopper member. The opening and closing unit drives the door stopper member.
