A banner type flag holder is provided to improve the beauty of a city by removing the installed flag holder after removing a flag or a banner. A banner type flag holder includes a body(10), a flag pole insertion pipe(30) and a flag pole movement prevention unit. The body(10) is coupled to a street light or a wall plane by a predetermined body coupling unit. The flag pole insertion pipe(30) is installed on a front plane of the body(10) laterally. The flag pole insertion pipe(30) has a cylinder shape so that a predetermined flag pole is inserted into an axis direction. The flag pole movement prevention unit fixes the flag holder on the flag pole insertion pipe(30). The body coupling unit forms a plurality of band insertion grooves on a side of the body(10), and has a band which wraps and fixes a predetermined post by being inserted into the band insertion grooves and binding the body(10).
