COMMUNICATION TERMINAL CONSISTING FILE MANAGER HAVING CONTENT PREVIEWER AND CONTENT PREVIEW METHOD

A communication terminal including a file manager having a contents preview function and a contents preview method are provided to save a navigation time by reducing the number of times a user opens/closes a directory repeatedly when he/she checks contents included in the directory. A generating unit(110) generates a preview file made of thumbnails of an image included in a directory. A storage unit(120) stores preview files of each directory. A sensing unit(130) senses whether a directory is selected according to a movement of the pointer of a file manager. A reproducing unit(140) reproduces a preview file corresponding to the selected directory to perform contents preview. The generating unit(110) includes an image checking unit for checking an image file included in a directory and provides an image to be used for a preview file.
