Pressure-type tongs using a locking unit of engagement structure are provided to secure airtightness by keeping pressing power constant by a pressing motion for closing a packing container. In pressure-type tongs using locking units(31,41) of engagement structure, a hinge(H) for connecting two support bars(10,20) is installed in the center. A press unit attached with a sealing rubber plate on one surface is formed at one side and a handle is formed on the other side about the hinge. The locking unit for holding a pressed state of the press unit of the support bars is installed at the handle. A spring(S) is installed at the periphery of the hinge to keep each support bar opened in a natural state all the time.
