A method for providing a local guide service using an RFID system is provided to offer a guide service simply and correctly for a region to users of public transportation through RF communication between an RF reader installed in the public transportation and a plurality of RFID tags installed to the region. A network for communicating the RF communication between the RF reader installed in the public transportation and the plurality of RFID tags installed to the region is constructed. RFID information received from the RFID tags responding to an RF signal of the RF reader through the RF network is collected and provided to a controller(101). The collected RFID information is classified into each item(103). The classified RFID information is stored and a guide message corresponding to the selected item is provided(111). The RFID information includes the guide message including item information and a trade name. |
