MANUFACTURING METHOD OF MEMBRANE-ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY FOR FUEL CELL

A method for preparing a membrane electrode assembly for a fuel cell is provided to fix a membrane to a substrate firmly, thereby preventing the deformation of a membrane due to temperature change and solvent absorption and enhancing the dimensional stability of a catalyst layer. A method for preparing a membrane electrode assembly comprises the steps of placing a membrane(21) on a substrate(11); installing a mask(31) on the membrane; coating the substrate with a catalyst composition(41a) comprising a catalyst, a binder and a solvent with heating the substrate; and cooling the substrate at a room temperature and removing the mask to form a catalyst layer on the certain region of the membrane, wherein at least one of the substrate and the mask is magnetic and the substrate and the mask are combined with interposing the membrane between them by magnetic force.
