IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS FOR A CAR AND ITS OPPERATING METHOD

An image recording apparatus for a car and a method for operating the same are provided to operate automatically the car when a driver is absent and an impact or stolen accident of the car is happened and video of a driving car, thereby preventing the car from being stolen and effectively analyzing car accidents. An image recording apparatus for a car comprises the followings: a photographing unit(130) for converting a photographed image into an electronic signal and outputting the converted signal; a sensing unit(150) for sensing an impact; a memory device(120) for storing video information; a MCU(Micro Controller Unit)(110) for controlling the units; and a power unit(180) for supplying power to units. A charging module(182) and a battery(181) are connected to the power unit. The charging module applies current to the battery when an external power is applied to the power unit. A battery applies current to the power unit by the power unit when the external power is disconnected to the power unit.
