A method for preparing a colored drainable pavement mixture is provided to produce the pavement mixture that prevents cracks and plastic deformation, drains a road rapidly, inhibits rainwater from getting spattered, and reduces braking distance. A method for preparing a colored drainable pavement mixture comprising aggregate, a binder, and an inorganic pigment includes the steps of: (a) charging 85-95wt% of aggregates heated to 160-200°C into a mixer; (b) heating 4-10wt% of a colorless binder to 140-170°C and spraying the binder into the mixer, wherein the binder is added with 0.15-1.5 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the colored drainable pavement mixture, of a modification additive; and (c) charging 1-5wt% of an inorganic pigment thereinto. The modification additive contains (A) 100 parts by weight of vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-conjugated diene block copolymers having a melt flow of 15g/10minutes, (B) 30-120 parts by weight of an adhesion-imparting resin, (C) 50-120 parts by weight of process oils having an aromatic component content of 25-40wt% and a kinematic viscosity of 400-800mm^2/s at 40°C, and additionally (D) 20-40 parts by weight of rubbers based on 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A), (B), and (C).
