METHOD FOR TYPE CHANGING IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL USING CASE

A method for converting the type of a mobile terminal using a case is provided to facilitate voice transmission by using a microphone installed in the case, and also facilitate voice transmissions of several persons like the function of a speaker phone by using all the microphones installed in the mobile terminal and in the case. A controller recognizes the standby state of a mobile terminal(S501). The controller checks whether the first connection part of the mobile terminal and the second connection part of a case are connected(S503). When the first and second connection parts are connected, the controller changes the mobile terminal so as to operate as a folder type mobile terminal(S505). The controller checks whether the case is opened or closed(S507). When the case is opened, the controller turns on a display unit(S509). With the display unit turned on, the controller executes corresponding functions according to events occurring in the mobile terminal(S511).
