A holding apparatus of an improper slab in a furnace is provided to improve productivity of furnace equipment by removing the improper slab without disturbing movement of normal slabs. A holding apparatus(10) of an improper slab(S') in a furnace comprises a table, a base, cylinders, and a plurality of rollers. The table is mounted on the end a route of slabs(S). The base supports the table, wherein the table moves up and down. The cylinders lift up and down the table. The rollers are rotatably installed on the top of the table at regular intervals. |
