An assembly structure of a side window glass of a van is provided to fix a preassembled window glass assembly having a molding, an insert bushing, and a window glass frame to an outer side panel of a pillar, and fixing a protective bar separately on an inner side panel of the pillar, thereby allowing only one worker to assemble the window glass assembly from the inside the van, maximizing the work efficiency and the productivity of the worker. In a side window glass assembly structure of a van wherein a protective bar(200) and a window glass(100) are disposed on an inner and an outer sides of a pillar(10) comprising inner and outer side panels(11,12) respectively, a molding(110) surrounds the corner of the window glass, and pipe shaped insert bushings(120) are attached vertically to four corners of the window glass. A window glass frame(130) circumvents the window glass and is mounted on the inner side of the insert bushing. A bolt(300) drilled through the window glass frame and the insert bushing fixes the window glass to the outer side panel, while at the same time the protective bar is fixed directly on the inner side panel. The insert bushing is composed of rubber on the outer side, and on the inner side, a metal pipe having screw threads is embedded. The protective bar is fixed to the inner side panel by a rivet(400) or by welding. An adhesive sealant(500) coated between the window glass and the window glass frame mutually fixes the window glass and the window glass frame.
