A radial tire for a vehicle is provided to minimize the friction between belts of the radial tire so that emitted heat is dissipated as soon as possible, thereby improving endurance of the radial tire. A radial tire includes a belt. The belt includes a first belt layer(60) positioned at the side of a carcass and a second belt layer(70) positioned on the first belt layer. The end portion of the second belt layer(70) has a ring shape to surround the lower end portion of the first belt layer(60). The cord diameter of the first belt layer(60) is larger than that of the second belt layer(70). A tread of the radial tire includes a cap tread and an under tread. The under tread extends to the side surface of the belt such that the under tread makes contact with the side wall.
