The system has a gas pressure sensor (13) e.g. flow meter, placed between an outlet of an engine (1) e.g. oil engine, and an inlet of a turbine portion (9) of a turbocharger (3). The sensor performs dual function such as delivering gas pressure information between the outlet of the engine and the inlet of the portion of the turbocharger and determining gas pressure between the portion and an oxidation catalyst (10), to determine a clogging state of a particle filter (11). A gas pressure evacuation unit (14) evacuates the gas pressure in downstream of the portion of the turbocharger.
