An apparatus for removing a fluorescent material remainder is provided to reduce a process time for a fluorescent material application process by removing the fluorescent material remainder while rotating a glass tube at a high speed. An apparatus(100) for removing a fluorescent material remainder includes a glass tube rotating unit(110), a metal brush(120), and a magnet(130). The glass tube rotating unit is coupled with one end of a glass tube and rotates the rotating tube. A fluorescent material is applied on an inner surface of the glass tube. The metal brush is arranged at an opposite side of the glass tube rotating unit. The metal brush is inserted into the other end of the glass tube and removes a portion of the fluorescent material, which is applied in the glass tube. The magnet is arranged outside the other end of the glass tube and drives the metal brush such that the metal brush is contacted with the inner surface of the glass tube.
