A vertical type perlite expanded furnace and a perlite manufacturing method using the same are provided to reduce fuel amount and to improve heat efficiency by pre-heating the raw material of a waste furnace through chimney stacks. A vertical type perlite expanded furnace(8) pre-heats the perlite raw material placed in a hopper(2) by using chimney stacks(5), and supplies the perlite raw material to the furnace through valves to expand the perlite. The furnace maintains the temperature of an inner cylinder through a heat guide of a screw shape. A part in which the raw material is pre-heated and the furnace are integrally manufactured. The inner structure of the inner cylinder of the furnace is manufactured with a shape attached with a cone having 60° to a vertically symmetrical method. The hopper includes an injection hole, an agitator(1), and an impeller(3). |
