A method for manufacturing silicate is provided to prevent air pollution caused by using silica or silica stone powder, by using cullet as a main component for preparing sodium silicate. A mixture is prepared by mixing cullet of 50 wt% such as sodium silicate, illite of 5 wt%, jade powder of 2 wt%, sodium carbonate of 30 wt%, potassium pyrophosphate of 3 wt%, potassium carbonate of 2 wt%, sodium pyrophosphate of 6 wt%, and calcium carbonate of 2 wt%. The mixture is melted at a temperature of 1,300-1,350°C in a melting furnace. The melted mixture is cooled, solidified, crushed, and pulverized. |
