A system, method, and computer program product for controlling a stereo glass shutter are provided to control left and right-eye shutters of a stereo glass so that the left and right-eye shutters can be maintained in a closed state for the predetermined time. A method for controlling left and right-eye shutters(113,114) of a stereo glass(111) is composed of a step for switching the right-eye shutter of the stereo glass between closed and open states and a step for switching the left-eye shutter of the stereo glass between the closed and open states. The left and right-eye shutters of the stereo glass are kept in the closed state for the predetermined time at the same time, and controlled independently.
