A coupling structure of a backlight unit is provided to remove a need for a coupling element such as a screw for coupling a substrate and a chassis and reduce the number of elements, which is required for coupling the substrate and the chassis, by inserting the substrate having a coupling groove in a longitudinal direction into a substrate coupling portion including a slit in a longitudinal direction. A substrate includes at least one LED(Light Emitting Diode) chip(220), and includes coupling grooves(200a,200b) formed in a longitudinal direction. A chassis is bent at one end, and includes a substrate coupling portion(110) coupled with the coupling grooves of the substrate. The substrate is coupled by insertion into the substrate coupling portion including a slit(120) in a longitudinal direction.
