A USB memory for multi-connection and a controlling method thereof are provided to offer a function for charging a mobile terminal, communicating data with a PC, and connecting to a flash memory, transceive/stores the data by connecting with various electronic devices, and operate the connected electronic device without any separate program. A plurality of connectors(330,350,380) for connecting with various kinds of flash memories, a USB port, and a serial port are formed on a substrate. A control unit is embedded with an execution program for operating external storage media according to priority as sensing the external storage media, and includes a charging circuit, a memory card, and an earphone/microphone unit. The earphone/microphone unit transfers a signal to an external device through the connector. A display part(510) is installed on an upper surface of a casing(500) and a cable(530) is directly connected with the earphone/microphone unit.
