The necktie (1) has a small side and a large side (2) connected by a collar, where the collar and the sides are stitched together. The large side is terminated by a triangular point (6) presenting lateral summits (8). The sides have a fold forming a front side and two lateral symmetrical folds turned toward back and stitched by a folding line (11) situated at middle of the front side. Each lateral symmetrical fold is folded along the line connecting a stitching line at the summits corresponding to a triangular point. An independent claim is also included for a method for shaping a part in the tissue for obtaining a necktie.
