LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY WITH SELECTION PAD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having a selection pad and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to minimize a size of an FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board) by removing a part of the FPCB corresponding to a selection FOG(FPCB On Glass) pad group of an array substrate after verification for an interface of a driver IC(Integrated Circuit), a data bus line and various signals is completed in a development process. In an array substrate(100), a driver IC(Integrated Circuit) device(140) is mounted and first and second pad groups(120,130) electrically connected with the driver IC device are formed. In a PCB(Printed Circuit Board), a circuit device for operating the driver IC is mounted and a third pad group electrically connected with the circuit device is formed. The PCB is attached to the array substrate so that the first pad group is contacted with the third pad group.
