A fastener tape and a fastener stringer are provided to maintain the flexibility that a knitting article originally possesses, and to restrain the stretching of an element attachment portion in a longitudinal direction of the tape. An element attachment portion(2) is integrally installed along one corner of a tape main body portion(3) to form a warp knitting structure, which constitutes a fastener tape for use in a slide tape. In the element attachment, a warp knitting yarn(11) and a weft insertion yarn(14) are arranged. The warp knitting yarn forms a needle loop across at least two adjacent wells, and runs in zigzag. The needle loop is entangled with a needle loop of the knitting yarn on one well. The weft yarn runs across at least two adjacent wells. A fastener element column is attached to the element attachment portion of the faster tape to form a fastener stringer. |
